ABOUT SISYPHEAN CONSCIENCE --

[Sisyphean Conscience ; A mind in constant struggle]
{sis•if•e•in}

Sisyphean Conscience brings a new face and a new name to Portland's flourishing tech metal game. With their eyes set on success, these ambitious childhood friends intend to stop at nothing to accomplish their goals as they attempt to make their mark on metal. Combining catchy melodies and epic harmonies with heavy grooves and crushing brutality, Sisyphean Conscience compliments many aspects of metal, forming them into a unique sound that can't be described as anything but their own.

"... and after witnessing their sets, one has to ask just how in the hell Ænimus and Sisyphean Conscience remain unsigned entities? Relapse or Metal Blade should come a-calling on both these bands immediately! First things first, as it was time to meet up with the progressively technical artistry of Sisyphean Conscience. Stumble upon the pronunciation band name if you must, but this Portland, Oregon based outfit is sure to leave you breathless. Fans of acts such as Veil Of Maya and Periphery are destined to uncover a lifelong favorite when encountering the chaotic reveries of Sisyphean Conscience. Performing selections from their independent release entitled Eternalites, it was abundantly clear that these talented musicians from the Pacific Northwest were mesmerizing the Cobalt Café attendees. The superb, tighter than hell musicianship was courtesy of Taylor Gorman on vocals, Blaine Brun on guitars, Austin Haag on bass, and Garrett Haag on drums. When the closing refrains of Claptrap engulfed the room with its relentless refrains, one could easily see that Sisyphean Conscience had conquered the City Of Angels."- HighWire Daze - Los Angeles, CA

ABOUT HAIL THE ARTILECT --

Hail The Artilect is a five-piece Technical Death Metal band from Portland Oregon. "Artilect" comes from the terms "artificial" and "intellect". This term was originally coined by Hugo de Garis, a scientist at the forefront of programming and constructing intelligent AI. Hugo uses the term to describe Artificial intelligence that has reached a godlike level of intelligence, and thus can create its own intelligent AI. In other words "Artilects" are AI gods, so Hail The Artilect and embrace your new man made GOD!

ABOUT ÆNIMUS --

Ænimus is a technical deathcore band based out of San Francisco and Orange County, CA. The band recently released their debut album, Transcend Reality, engineered by Nick Botelho of NB Recording. Ænimus takes elements from the best in extreme and progressive metal and seamlessly blends them together into one cohesive crushing debut album. Having been compared to the likes of Whitechapel, Veil of Maya, All Shall Perish, Born of Osiris and more, this 6 piece metal juggernaut from the Bay Area in Northern California has incorporated all of their collective influences and have managed to create an album that is so much more than the sum of its parts.

ABOUT THE DIGGERS --

Heavy, brooding and atmospheric, The Diggers combines disparate elements of many rock/metal subgenres. Coming from backgrounds of grunge and hard rock, we find ourselves in a nebulous state.

ABOUT AS DEATH COMES CALLING --

Formed in the summer of 2009 in the small off-the-grid town of Crescent City, CA. Released a Demo in January of 2011 and our Full Length album in March of 2012.

We are already itching to get the second album rolling. Coming to a city near you. Stay tuned...
