The tour will be the first performances for Blood Incantation in Europe! They will be accompanied by the great UK outfit Cruciamentum for the 15 date rampage across Europe from 17th – 31st March 2017!
Blood Incantation´s debut album, “Starspawn”, was released in 2016 through Dark Descent Records and received critical acclaim from music publications such as Decibel and Stereogum.
The band’s sound features “a psychedelic take on classic death metal” and melds “technicality with tectonic riffs, cavernous vocals and eerie, Dodsengel-like moments of caustic stillness.” On the band’s style, Stereogum’s Aaron Lariviere wrote: “Screaming leads cut a swath through the churn of atonal rhythm guitars, blending the bright melodicism of late-period Death with the alien tones of Morbid Angel circa Domination.”
Cruciamentum signed to Profound Lore Records (Canada) in 2015 for the release of their debut full length “Charnel Passages”. The band followed up the album release with a European tour with Corpsessed (fin) and appearances at Netherlands Deathfest and Armageddon Descends III in Lithuania.
Cruciamentum are currently writing their second album which will be recorded mid/late 2017, also to be released on Profound Lore Records.
