Canadian black metal legends return to Calgary for an exclusive one-off performance. Formed in 2000 from the ashes of Conqueror, lead by J Read, Revenge have consistently released some of the world's most extreme black/death metal, always pushing the boundaries and forming a sound that could only come from Western Canada. They recently released their latest full-length album “Behold.Total.Rejection” on Season Of Mist Underground Activists in November 2015, and have been traveling the world making appearances in Germany, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, England, among many other countries. Since their first performance in Calgary during Noctis Valykries in 2013, they toured with Mayhem and Watain for the Black Metal Warfare tour. This is their first Canadian show since and a very rare opportunity to see them on home soil. Not for the weak.

AUROCH
Dark Descent Records, Profound Lore Records
Vancouver-based chaotic death metal. While taking influence from Canadian death metal pioneers such as Gorguts and early Cryptopsy, Auroch stand apart from many of their contemporary peers through their dark and complex compositions, while maintaining a raw, bestial approach of playing pure death metal. Sharing members with Mitochondrion, Auroch formed in 2008 and have since had releases on Hellthrasher Productions, Dark Descent Records, Profound Lore Records, among others. First Calgary show in years and likely the last for quite some time.

GAROTTING DEEP
Iron Bonehead Productions
Originally formed in Calgary in 2010, Garotting Deep play atmospheric, ritualistic, esoteric death metal that takes cues from artists such as Dead Can Dance as much as it does from Archgoat and Beherit. Since their formation, the founder of the band has lived between Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver, and is currently based out of Vancouver playing with members of Mitochondrion and Auroch. They have recently performed at Messe des Morts Festival in Montreal and Famine Festival in Portland, Oregon.

RADIACTIVE VOMIT
Vault Of Dried Bones, Iron Bonehead Productions
Vancouver-based black/war metal. Releasing their first tape under the moniker Reikhkrieg in 2008, Radioactive Vomit shortly thereafter changed their name and released the “Vomit Command Until Suicide” demo, playing a style of bestial black metal that is distinctly Canadian, playing in the style of Blasphemy, Conqueror and Revenge. They have since released a split with Toronto’s Column Of Heaven, and two EP’s, the most recent being “Ratsflesh,” which was released in 2015 by Vault Of Dried Bones and Iron Bonehead Productions. Excellent band, first Alberta appearance.

OMINOSITY
Doom/death metal from Calgary. With members now spread out between multiple provinces, this will be the first Ominosity performance in a number of years. They share members with Garotting Deep, and released a split together. Since releasing a demo early in 2010, they have shared the stage with Incantation, Root and Rotten Sound at Noctis Valkyries.
